There are over 100 different types of visas, making the right choice of migration pathway so critical from the start. Professional personal migration advice and service throughout the migration process is crucial.
The path for permanent residency takes one to two years or even longer. During this period there are always changes in the migration legislation, to be noticed.
The wrong decision during the migration process can cause a severe waste of time and money, a long delay in visa processing times, and even refusals. The choice of the most suitable type of visa is individual and is the key for fast and efficient visa outcome.
There are temporary and permanent visas.
In the scope of temporary visas are student visas, visas for professional workers and academics, visas for athletes, and many others, some of which lead towards permanent residency.
The permanent visas are divided into 3 main categories:
1. Skilled migration: Incorporated under this definition are a large number and variety of visas, including graduate students who acquired education in Australia, business people who operated businesses in Australia, skilled employees sponsored by an Australian employer, professional persons with work experience in their field (every profession prescribes a different period of work experience for skills recognition for migration purposes), or wealthy people.
So if you are a skilled person or a business person, under the age of 45, English speaking, with work experience in your profession and or documents from a recognized institution, Australia welcomes you.
2. Family Migration: Designed to allow Australian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor relatives permanently or for a number of years prior to being granted a permanent visa as prescribed by legislation. This category includes: couples (including same sex couples) who can prove their relationship is over one year, married or engaged couples, children, parents where more than half of their children are Australian residents, and special permanent visas which allow first and second degree family members to care for a disabled Australian citizen.
3. Special Rights: This program is designed for people who have previously had permanent residency in Australia but did not stay long enough for citizenship, for different reasons have lost their status as an Australian resident and wish to return to reside in Australia.
The Humane Program: In addition to the three formal immigration paths, Australia allows refugees who have been persecuted and discriminated against and have had their human rights taken from them in their home countries, to receive shelter in Australia. They can become an Australian resident if they (I don’t know what the next part means so can’t comment on the structure of the sentence) and the international agreements which define who is a refugee.
There are more than 100 types of visas, so it will be difficult to give details and information for all the individual visa types offered by the Australian authorities. We welcome your enquiry and commit to professional and personal service.
